The base of every Vite product (bars, drink mixes, shakes) is 100% natural, real food and the vast majority of our functional ingredients are too, in certain cases, most notably certain vitamins, it is not feasible to source enough of the active ingredient from natural sources thus in these cases we will use a synthetic version.

Chicory Root Fibre is a dense source for the Prebiotic Fibre Inulin. Inulin is not digested on its way through the body and delivers fructose molecules to the gut which feed thee bodies friendly gut bacteria. These helpful bacteria play a role in reducing inflammation, fighting harmful bacteria, improving mineral absorption, bowel movements and blood sugar levels. (3)
Digestive Enzyme complex
Protease, Amylase, Lipase, Cellulase & Lactase are Digestive Enzymes that facilitate the breakdown of food molecules and enable the body to efficiently utilise energy from macronutrients, absorb micronutrients and ensure an efficient digestive process.
Protease is used to breakdown proteins.
Amylase is used to breakdown carbohydrates.
Lipase is used to breakdown fats.
Cellulase is used to breakdown cellulose.
